Southampton Airport is set to undergo major upgrades.
The work forms part of a £350 million transformation programme by AGS Airports, which also includes Glasgow and Aberdeen airports.
Professional services firm WSP has been appointed as lead development designer for Southampton Airport.

The design phase will shape the future layout, flow, and overall passenger experience at both airports.
WSP will deliver full architectural and engineering design services, covering areas such as structural, fire safety, and ventilation.

In Glasgow, the programme will focus on modernising the main terminal.
At Southampton, it will upgrade terminal facilities, while improvements to airfield infrastructure are planned across all three airports.
The scheme also supports AGS' ambition to achieve net-zero direct emissions by 2035.
In Aberdeen, the focus will be on retail transformation.
