Princess Cruises has unveiled plans to expand its fleet with three new vessels after fresh agreements with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.
The ships, which will run on liquefied natural gas (LNG), are expected to enter service in 2035, 2038 and 2039.
Each vessel, set to be operated by Southampton-based cruise line, will weigh around 183,000 tonnes and carry up to 4,700 passengers.
Company president Gus Antorcha said: "The Voyager class will delight both our loyal guests and attract the next generation of Princess guests."
He added: "We have been leveraging extensive customer and agent research to strike the right balance between evolving our proven winners and introducing new concepts and partnerships grounded in what matters to our current and future guests."
Passengers can expect upgraded dining, redesigned leisure areas and enhanced entertainment options, although full details will be revealed at a later date.
The order forms part of Princess Cruises' wider strategy to modernise and grow its fleet.
