The Bournemouth to Barbados fly‑cruise has returned, offering holidaymakers the chance to take flight from the Dorset airport and transfer straight to a luxury cruise ship in the Caribbean.
Hosted by Hays Travel, the trip itinerary will begin with a direct flight to Barbados then guests will board a P&O Cruise ship for a voyage, hopping through various islands in the Caribbean.
The cruises begin in Bridgetown, Barbados and continue to destinations such as Curaçao and Oranjestad in Aruba, Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos, Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis and Castries in Saint Lucia.

A spokesperson for Hays Travel said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this holiday which will allow our customers to fly direct from Bournemouth to Barbados for an amazing Caribbean cruise.
“We always want to provide the best possible experience and wholeheartedly welcome opportunities for customers to travel from regional airports, which give greater choice and convenience.”
There are multiple dates passengers can choose from for the fly cruise:
- November 12, 2027
- January 23, 2027
- February 11, 2028
- February 26, 2028
At the time of research, packages include direct flights from Bournemouth, baggage allowance and all overseas transfers throughout the holiday. Guests can also benefit from complimentary shuttle buses in ports, priority cabin upgrades where available and flexible dining arrangements on board.
A Hays hospitality desk and Hays representatives will also be available onboard throughout.
Prices start at £2,069 per person, with more than £200 on-board spending money per cabin. A deposit scheme is also available, starting at £50 per person.

Bournemouth Airport confirmed guests can expect to wake up to "turquoise waters" and "palm fringed islands" all while unwinding with world class dining, entertainment and ocean views in selected cabins.
On its website, Hays Travel has confirmed guests onboard the January 2027 cruise will sail on the P&O vessel, Britannia.
Hays Travel describes the floating resort as a five-star luxury facility, aimed at couples, families and solo travellers.
According to organiser, guests can choose from informal buffets, cafés, poolside grills and pizzerias, as well as formal dining featuring menus by Marco Pierre White and optional speciality restaurants.
Entertainment is set to include theatre productions, live music, comedy and dancing, plus cookery classes and gin‑tasting.
For relaxation, passengers can enjoy the Oasis Spa and Salon, hydrotherapy suite, saunas and adults only Retreat with a Serenity Pool & Bar which provide quieter spaces, while a gym and wellness options support active guests.
Children’s clubs are also available to cater for ages six months to 17 with age-appropriate activities.
