The 2026 return of Unwrapped Festival will bring free family friendly performances and creative activities to Eastleigh, Hedge End and Netley Abbey over the next few weeks.
Expect free live performances, creative sessions, community activities, and craft and food stalls at the event, presented by The Point, when it pops up in three outdoor locations across the borough.
The festival brings the joy of live outdoor performing out into local public spaces, turning local parks into welcoming family entertainment spaces - Netley Abbey Cricket Ground on Saturday May 30, Leigh Road Recreation Ground in Eastleigh on Saturday June 6 and Greta Park Hedge End on Sunday June 7.

The programme includes hand-picked performances, have-a-go creative sessions, arts and crafts, market stalls and a range of street-food traders.
The Point Youth Theatre will lead audiences on a bubbly, magical tale through the festival before the grand opening of Up in the Sky by Autin Dance Theatre. This brand-new aerial production has been created as part of The Point’s 30th Anniversary celebrations. Built around a striking seven-metre circular structure, six performers leap, spin and soar in an uplifting story of connection and belonging. The performance is being co-created with local dancers from Hampshire Youth Dance Company and ORB Youth Dance Co.
The Point Artistic Director Charlotte Cassey said: "We’re delighted to be bringing spectacular performances along with hands-on creativity to Eastleigh, Hedge End and Netley Abbey for families to come along and enjoy together.
"Unwrapped Festival is open, accessible and welcoming to everyone – simply turn up, take part and enjoy a shared live experience close to your home."
Other performances at Unwrapped include spectacular aerial circus act Pirates of the Carabina with Pirate Taxi, taking place in, on or around an old-school London taxi, multi-sensory experience Squidge & Pop with immersive giant bubbles and outdoor interactive theatre and puppetry show Bin Rat: The Last Baguette on refuse and recycling.
Audiences will also enjoy songwriter and performer Louise Jordan with Would You Could You Be A Spy?, challenging narratives around gender and power.
