A Hampshire law firm has reported its strongest ever financial results.
Moore Barlow announced record-breaking figures for the 2025/2026 financial year, achieving £44.7 million in billings, a 13 per cent increase on last year’s total of £39.4 million.
The firm, which includes 58 partners, saw several of its core practice areas exceed internal targets, with standout growth in insolvency and restructuring (46 per cent above target), family law (nine per cent above target), and the schools and charities team (12 per cent above target).

Ed Whittington, managing partner at Moore Barlow, said: "This stellar financial performance is down to the strength of teamwork and expertise across the firm, our first-class problem-solving capabilities, and the close working relationships we have with our clients.

Other teams also performed above expectations, including commercial property (six per cent), financial services litigation (five per cent), and both court of protection and personal injury (four per cent each).
Fourth quarter results were particularly strong, with the private wealth and tax team reaching 29 per cent above target and the corporate team achieving 23 per cent above target.

The firm also earned recognition at the South Coast Deals Awards 2025, where it was named Corporate Law Firm of the Year after completing more than 30 deals worth more than £200 million.
Partner Heather Dobson won Corporate Restructuring Lawyer of the Year at the TRI Awards.
Nine of the firm’s practice areas secured Tier 1 rankings in the Legal 500, with a further 21 ranked across Tiers 2, 3, and 4.
Three partners were newly awarded or retained in the publication’s Hall of Fame.
Moore Barlow’s continued growth was supported by tailored business development and marketing strategies for each team.
