A gang of superstar DJs from across the South are putting on an epic musical fundraiser for one of their own, the sister who always loved to rave but is now hoping to buy extra time with her family following a second cancer diagnosis.
Some of the biggest names in electronic music will gather at The Engine Rooms in Southampton on Saturday June 20 for the event, named We've Got Your Back and raising money for Kate Knight from Bitterne Triangle.
Kate, 48, a brilliant scientist with a doctorate in physics and maths and a promising future in Formula 1 car design before her diagnosis, is the sister of Ollie Knight, who appears on the bill alongside the likes of Hixxy, Vinylgroover and Ridney.

She had survived nearly two decades of unrelated chronic migraines and ovarian cancer before discovering in March that a fast growing 5cm brain tumour had led to incurable stage four cancer.
Kate has since undergone brain surgery and is half way through radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments but hopes to be at the gig, which aims to help Martin Lock, the husband she originally met as a teenager at a 90s rave, spend more time by her side.
Kate said: "It's so nice of Ollie's friends to do this for me. I used to go raving in the 90s and I even met my husband when I was 16 at a rave.
"It only took us another 17 years to end up in a relationship! We had an old school rave at our wedding two and a half years ago but I've been ill a lot since so I'll do all I can to be there."
Funds will also help Kate and her retired medic parents Caroline and Tony research life extending options and treatments not available on the NHS while allowing her to enjoy the occasional bucket list treat like a three Michelin star restaurant experience.

Ollie added: "It's super, super touching that my friends in music have come together to do this for us.
"Anyone who went raving in the 90s will look at the line-up and go wow! It should be a great night."
