Crematoria are welcoming families to pay tribute to loved ones this Father’s Day.
Westerleigh Group, which operates crematoria across the UK, including in New Forest, Test Valley and Wessex Vale, is inviting people to visit and remember fathers or father figures, and is also extending an invitation to parents who have lost a child.
Bereaved families are welcome to attend, regardless of whether the funeral took place at a Westerleigh site or if a memorial exists on the grounds.

Debbie Smith, chief executive of Westerleigh Group, said: "The bereaved will feel the loss of a loved one every day, but annual occasions like Father’s Day can intensify those feelings."
Each crematorium will mark the day in its own way, with some offering memorial services and others providing opportunities to light candles, hang messages on memory trees, or place flowers, pebbles, or wooden hearts on memorials.
Visitors can also leave written messages in white memorial post boxes.
