Every week, the Daily Echo publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have passed away.
As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Angela and Peter GIBBARD
We are very sad to announce that Angela and Peter Gibbard from Horton Heath, have passed away within a week of each other at the end of March. There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday 1st June at 12.30pm at The Hinton Woodland Burial Ground BH23 7EJ and afterwards at The Walker Arms, New Milton, BH25 6JJ.

Gordon Alfred Cox
After a period of poor health, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gordon who passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday 9th May. Sadly, Maureen has also passed away unexpectedly on Monday 18th May following the passing of Gordon, Clearly after 70 years of marriage they both wanted to stay together forever!!

Sadly passed away on 24th April 2026, aged 79 years. Val, born in County Durham, lived her adult life in Southampton, Romsey and latterly, Netley Abbey.

Passed away peacefully at Lymington New Forest Hospital on Thursday 7th May 2026, aged 87 years. A loving husband to Alice, father to Karen and Donna and grandfather to Stuart, Samantha and Ross.
