A New Milton care home has been ranked among the top 1 per cent of dementia care providers nationally.
Mornington Court received platinum accreditation in dementia care for 2026-27, reflecting its commitment to the highest standards.
The award follows a detailed independent assessment under the National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme (NaDCAS), which covers person-centred practice, the care environment, and team culture.

Gemma Ridout-Bowden, senior general manager at Mornington Court, said: "We are extremely proud to receive the Platinum Dementia Accreditation Award, ranking in the top 1 per cent nationally.

The care home scored 91.06 per cent in the final validation score, earning 397.0 out of 436.0 points.
It also achieved a perfect 100 per cent score in ‘The Senses for Wellbeing’ environmental evaluation, which assesses how well the environment is adapted for dementia care.
