Appeal after license plates stolen from Southampton vehicle

A CCTV appeal has been released after number plates were stolen from a vehicle in Southampton.

The incident took place on Woodley Road at 7.31pm on Monday, April 25.

The man in the image is described as white, between 25 and 35 years old, of average build, with brown hair.

He was wearing a grey hoodie, blue tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers at the time of the incident.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We are now asking you for your help to identify the man in this CCTV image who we believe may be able to assist with our enquiries."

They added: "If you were in the area at the time and recognise this man, or saw anything you believe may support our enquiries, please call 101 and quote 44260194639.

"Additionally, we’d like to hear from you if you have CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that may assist our enquiries."
