A community crafter has been recognised for her efforts.
Sewing enthusiast Dee O’Neil, of Hedge End, won the Hedge End Town Council Serving the Community Award after raising £47,000 for charity through her creative work.
Ms O’Neil said: "I feel honoured to have been recognised in this way.
"I love what I do and being creative, so if I can make one tiny difference to one person’s life I am inspired to carry on."

She co-founded the Hedge End Community Sewing Project with her friend Roberta.
Their work began with handmade face masks and has since expanded to include memory bears, teddy bears for Ukraine, blankets for children in hospital and the elderly, and heart-shaped cushions for breast cancer patients.
Their creations have supported charities including the Wildern Opportunity Group and New Life Domestic, which supports victims of domestic abuse in Hedge End and the surrounding areas.
Ms O’Neil even raffled her £100 gift voucher prize, raising an extra £345 for New Life Domestic.
