A Southampton cinema is offering discounted tickets this summer.
Showcase Cinemas is reducing child and family ticket prices thanks to a 15 per cent VAT cut, lowering the rate from 20 per cent to five per cent.
The offer is available on screenings until September 1.
Jon Dixon, UK marketing director at Showcase Cinemas, said: "The summer holidays are all about spending quality time together, and there’s no better place to do that than at the cinema.

The government’s summer VAT reduction aims to make leisure and hospitality activities more affordable for families during the holidays.
