Lyndhurst Tennis Club celebrated its 100th anniversary with a series of "throwback" matches.
On July 4, 20 members donned 1920s attire and played a mixed tennis tournament using traditional wooden rackets, while the courts and clubhouse were adorned with period decorations.
Guests were treated to a variety of refreshments served by waitresses in authentic 1920s costumes, and a beautifully decorated centenary cake was the centrepiece of the celebrations.

Guests also had the chance to peruse a display of historic photographs and newspaper clippings, providing a glimpse into the club's rich history.
This display was recently part of an exhibition at the Lyndhurst Heritage Centre.
Club chairman Ann Van Hoof reflected on the club's achievements and the many friendships it has fostered over the last century.
The day was an opportunity for members, past and present, to celebrate memories and look forward to the future of the club.
