Sailors from HMS Collingwood lent a helping hand at a community barbecue.
Crew members from the Royal Navy base’s Victory Squadron supported the Adult Services Summer BBQ at Fareham’s Rainbow Centre on July 9, assisting with setting up the event and staying to pack away after the event.
A spokesperson from the Rainbow Centre said: "Participants and staff noted how engaging you all were with everyone and what a huge support it was having you there to enjoy this lovely day."
A special mention was made for attendees of the centre’s Conductive Education sessions.
The spokesperson said: "Our Conductive Education sessions are all about empowering our adults to reach their full potential, improving quality of life, increasing independence and self-esteem and making friends with others who are experiencing similar challenges.
"This also has a wider impact which benefits the whole family, too."
The charity added: "It was lovely to share this day with you all and we hope you enjoyed yourselves, too."
