A group of youths deliberately started a fire at a cricket ground using aerosol cans and lighters.
An appeal has been launched by police for witnesses to the incident on August 3, between 3pm and 4pm, at Turnpike Recreation and Cricket Ground.
Police are treating the incident as arson after a group of youths was reportedly started a fire using aerosol cans and lighters, causing the fire quickly spread before the group was seen running away.

Firefighters and police have also been called to deal with a number of other blazes.
The incidents occurred in Hedge End, West End, and Botley, including Boorley Green, and involved youths starting fires.
The fires, some of which were intentional, were set in nature reserves, wooded areas, parks, and near the motorway behind Smyths Toy Store.
The police have urged parents to speak to their children about the dangers of starting fires, and have reminded the public to follow outdoor safety rules.
