A new towing boat has been put to work on the Beaulieu River.
Named Pickle, the vessel is now in service on the Beaulieu River and will help transport boats between moorings and the marina, offering greater flexibility to the boatyard team.
Harbour Master Wendy Stowe said: "The new purchase and refurbishment will help us to continue providing a five-star customer service for berth and mooring holders, while ensuring we’re ready for the seasons ahead."

Alongside the introduction of Pickle, long-serving barge Dextrous has been undergoing refurbishment at Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour.
Built in the 1980s, the 13-metre barge is being fitted with a new steel deck and will return to duty for the autumn and winter.
Dextrous is usually used daily to inspect and service moorings and navigation markers on the river.
These upgrades follow recent improvements to the yacht harbour’s boatshed, which now includes waterfront offices, meeting rooms and workshop bays.
