Tickets now on sale for Isle of Wight Literary Festival

The event will see appearances from top names, including broadcaster Clare Balding, actress Amanda Barrie, and journalist Sophie Raworth.

Football commentator Clive Tyldesley, chef and activist Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, and actress Celia Imrie are also scheduled to appear.

Taking place at Northwood House, Cowes, the festival runs from October 8 to 11.

Organisers have ensured ticket prices remain affordable for all key speakers.

Tickets can be purchased on the Isle of Wight Literary Festival website.

The festival will also feature specialist talks on a variety of topics, from Bob Dylan’s Isle of Wight connections to Britain's coastal heritage.

More than 40 speakers are expected to attend, along with a range of special events including wine and whisky tastings, a murder mystery by Ann Cleeves, and a musical evening with Mike Christie.

The festival’s school programme will involve every school on the Island, with more than 20 children’s authors expected to participate.
