A family fun day featuring children's entertainment, competitions and live music is set to take place in Romsey to raise money for charity in memory of Dean Hayball.
The event will be held at Romsey Comrades Club on Saturday, September 26, with all funds raised going to SUDEP Action, a charity that raises awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.
A daytime family event will include a bouncy castle, burger van, children's fancy dress competition, kids' disco, karaoke, balloon modelling and bracelet-making activities.
Alongside the family entertainment, darts and snooker competitions will be held in tribute to Dean, whose family said they were two of his favourite pastimes. Entries for both competitions can be made through the club or via Facebook posts promoting the event.
Organisers are also running a raffle, with prizes already donated by a number of local businesses and pubs. Further prize donations are being welcomed.
In the evening, live band Double Barrel will provide entertainment for guests.
Shaun Hayball, who is helping organise the fundraiser, said all money raised on the day will go to SUDEP Action. Entry will be by voluntary donation.
Organisers hope the event will bring the community together for a day of fun while supporting an important cause and remembering Dean.
