Several roads in Romsey will have temporary restrictions during this year’s Romsey Show.

Hampshire County Council has issued notice of changes, which will apply on Saturday, September 12.

The order will run from 7am to 7pm for one day, or until the event ends, whichever is sooner.

A right-hand turn will be prohibited at Rapids Roundabout for traffic turning into the A3090 Bypass Road between 8am and 4pm.

A diversion for Romsey Show traffic will be signed via Spaniards Lane. Other traffic should use the A27, A3057, M271 at junction 3, A36 and A3090.

Palmerston Street, the B3398, will be one-way between Broadwater Road and A3090 Bypass Road.

Traffic will only be permitted to travel northbound from 7am to 7pm.

The diversion uses the B3398, A0357 and A0390.

A U-turn will be prohibited on the A27 Southampton Road outside Romsey Rapids Sports Complex between 8am and 4pm.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is taking place.
