POLICE have closed a major road this afternoon following a two-car collision on the Hampshire border.
The A36 was closed in both directions at Plaitford near West Wellow following the crash, which happened between the B3079 Lyndhurst Road and New Road shortly after 2pm.
Emergency services are currently treating passengers for minor injuries.
A Wiltshire police spokesman said the road would remain closed for several hours.
