Hampshire Autistic Society wants Daily Echo readers to raise cash for the charity by setting themselves the challenge of a lifetime.

Whether it is a marathon run, a trek across distant lands, a cycle through exotic terrain or a breathtaking sky- dive, your challenge can make a real difference to people affected with autism.

World record-breaker Holly Budge, pictured, will be helping to encourage people to follow in her thrillseeking footsteps. The 29-year-old from Winchester became the first woman to skydive over Mount Everest in July last year. Her amazing feat raised thousands of pounds for Hampshire Autistic Society.

She will be a special guest speaker at two of the charity’s free challenge open evenings, on January 13, at the Winchester Hotel, and on January 14, at the Hilton Hotel, in Chilworth, Southampton. All are welcome to drop in at either event, from 5pm to 8pm.
