SHE had a beautiful pink rose for every year of her life.
Romsey woman Rosemary Hurst’s family made sure she had a day to remember as she celebrated her 90th birthday with a party organised by her daughter Sheila Clewer and attended by 40 relatives.
The arrangement actually comprised 100 blooms but ten were placed on the grave of Mrs Hurst’s late husband Desmond, who was a well-known builder in the town.
“It was a lovely surprise to get so many flowers,” said Mrs Hurst.
