YOU would be barking mad to miss it.

It is the cream of all dog shows and if you leave your pet pooch at home you will be in the doghouse for months.

From brave Border collies flying through the air to dancing Dalmatians, the Daily Echo-sponsored Paws in the Park has it all.

Broadlands, near Romsey, will be transformed into a doggy heaven next month as thousands of Hampshire’s hounds sniff-out the biggest event of the canine calendar.

Anydoggy who is anydoggy will be begging to go walkies to what is the country’s largest outdoor show for working, trained and pet dogs.

Paws in the Park has everything that will get your pooch wagging its tail, with doggy watersports, stalls full of treats, flyball competitions as well as a My Dog’s Got Talent contest.

This will be the first time that the two-day extravaganza travels out of Kent since it started three years ago.

Anton Wittwer, director of the show, which takes place on June 20 and 21, said: “We are not an elitist dog show.We don’t expect every dog to be perfectly behaved, never having put a paw wrong.

“This event is for the normal pet dog. Anything you can possibly think of to do with your dog, we will have it.

It is a unique day out that any dog will go barking mad for.”

Admission costs £8 for adults, £7 for children or £28 for a family of two adults and two children.
