More than 40 firefighters from across the south tackled a house blaze in the New Forest today.
Crews from Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire were called to the blaze in a large detached house.
It happened in the village of Martin, near Fordingbridge, in the early hous of this morning.
The occupiers of the large detached house escaped unhurt but the roof of their home was badly damaged.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Fire crews from Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Cranborne, Verwood, Salisbury, Wilton, Beaulieu, Eastleigh and St Marys in Southampton attended.
