Ice shuts car parks
THE ICY conditions have forced the closure of two major car parks in Fareham.
Market Quay car park and Lysses car park in the town centre were shut by Fareham Borough Council yesterday due to dangerous ice patches and it was not known last night when they might re-open.
Drivers are being redirected to Osborn Road multi-storey car park where the entrance and exit have been cleared and gritted.
All other car parks are open but motorists are being warned to take care on the slippery surfaces.
