GOLFERS: Those busy chaps Steve Western and Ricky Bourne are in the process of organising an annual golf day for the residents of Old Basing and Lychpit.

It will take on the guise of a fun morning and a serious 18-holes in the afternoon.

The first get-together is on September 9, at Sherfield Oaks golf course.

The eventual outcome will be an annual event with the proceeds going to a nominated charity.
