LUNCHTIME supervisors needed: With its recent expansion, St Mark's Primary School in Danebury Road is looking for more lunchtime supervisory assistants to help care for the children during the lunchbreak.

The hours are noon until 1.15pm each day, term-time only. The rate of pay is £5.75 per hour, including a free meal, and half-pay retainer during the school holidays.

The school would be very happy to hear from people who would prefer not to work five days and are looking for only two or three days a week.

NEW bus shelters: Local councillor Dan Putty has received requests from local people for more bus shelters in the area.

There is a particular need for shelters in the Beggarwood area and along Danebury Road and this is currently being investigated.
