HAMPSHIRE youngster Josh Goodall was the victim of a ruthless display by Greg Rusedski in the first round of the Stella Artois Championship at Queens yesterday.
The British number two fired down 20 aces, including one on match point, but had to save four break points as 19-year-old Goodall refused to be overwhelmed on his tournament debut.
Rusedski will face either Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman or Russian Dmitry Tursunov in the second round and said: "If I serve this well I have a good chance to win."
Consolation for Goodall was that he learned he has received a wild card for Wimbledon, along with four other young Brits, including Andrew Murray.
