TV legend and one of Britain's favourite comedy and singing entertainers, Des O'Connor, pictured, brings his family fun stage show to The Mayflower in Southampton on June 26.
Since landing his first television series in the UK in 1963, Des has starred in his own TV show every year since then - longer than anyone, anywhere in the world.
He currently presents ITV1's daily celebrity talk show Today With Des & Mel, with co-host Melanie Sykes.
On stage he has appeared at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, the Sydney Opera House and more than 1,000 times at the London Palladium.
Since 1967 he has been a successful recording star. He had his first hit single with Careless Hands, followed by I Pretend, which went to number one.
Since then his recording career has produced 34 albums with sales of more than 15 million, and he has spent 117 weeks in the top ten UK charts.
