ANIMATED hero Wallace put the "fun" in fundraising when he visited a Hampshire children's hospice.
The much-loved character, without his popular sidekick Gromit, left the Wensleydale aside to present a cheque for £10,000 to Naomi House hospice near Winchester.
The money was raised from last year's Wrong Trousers Day, in which people from all walks of life paid a fee to swap their normal clothes for wacky legwear.
For the second year running, Naomi House was one of the 20 children's charities in the country to benefit from the fundraiser.
Tessa Tennant, a volunteer at Naomi House, said: "This is wonderful for Naomi House. We rely completely on corporate and public generosity because we don't get any grant funding at all.
"It's very welcome and lovely to have something so different, and so much fun, for the children to enjoy."
This year's Wrong Trousers Day will be held on June 24. For information about the event log on to www.wrongtrousersday.org
