TOP Hampshire motocross sidecar ace Scott Wilkinson was in winning form at the big Torce En Vallee international event near Le Mans.
He and passenger Gary Burt beat off opposition from highly-ranked World Championship crews to record their first win on foreign soil. Only an engine fault in one of the races cost them overall victory on the day.
Currently lying second in the British Championship with three rounds to go, Wilkinson and Burt will contest their first Grand Prix of the year in Holland before returning to France at the end of the month.
