Sir.-I would like to thank Jan Lefley, June Balcombe, Alberto Culver and, of course, The Gazette for the support given to this year's Run4Fun.
Thanks also to everybody involved in helping organise the event and in raising awareness of prostate cancer.
The Run4Fun is just that - a fun run. So well done to everyone who took part and to all the people who cheered and supported all the runners.
Also, thank you to the firemen who took time to speak to my grandson and I about the equipment they were wearing while we were all running around - one of them even came from my home in Edinburgh.
What I would like to see next year is more dads, lads and grandfathers taking part in the run, instead of standing and cheering the runners on.
Let's get next year's number taking part up to 2,000.
Who knows - we may even catch up with the amount of women who do the Race for Life.
-Tommy Millar, Brighton Hill, Basingstoke.
