CORONATION Copse: Now is the time to view this landmark as the trees forming the "EIIR" are very bright green against a darker background.
It is on the downland scarp to the east of the mast and is best viewed from the junction of the Hannington bridleway and Hollowshot Lane.
PARISH clerk: Our new parish clerk will be Mrs Sheila Thompson, the former chairman of the community association.
BISHOP'S visit: The Bishop of Basingstoke will be attending the service on Wednesday, May 18, at St Mary's Church, which coincides with the deanery meeting. The service will start at noon.
VILLAGE Plan: If you have any views on the future of Kingsclere, such as "Kingsclere is full" or "we need a lot of affordable housing to keep our village alive", then do drop into the Village Club on Saturday, May 21, from 11am to 2pm, and make your comments to the planning team.
There will be a video of some of the problems raised by a recent questionnaire and displays of concerns already raised, so why not go along and have your say?
WALK: There will be another guided walk on Saturday, May 21, starting from The Crown at 10am.
This is a shorter walk so you will be back in time to go to the Village Plan event.
