SHOULD Harry stay or should he go?

He's yet to make up his mind whether his future remains with the relegated club but the fans are calling on Redknapp to make his intentions known - and not all believe his future lies at Saints.

Nick Illingsworth, spokesman for the True Saints' Association, said: "Most people do think he's the man for the job but I'm not so sure.

"I get the feeling from reading his body language that he won't be here next year. He's already said that the squad isn't good enough for the Championship.

"If I had a chat with him today I'd want to know if he was still enthusiastic for the club. The one thing we need right now is enthusiasm and the ability to motivate a squad.

"If he hasn't got that, he should be frank with the fans and tell us."

He added: "Yes, Harry is a proven manager who's capable of getting us straight back up, but I'm not convinced he has the passion."

Saints Forever website boss, Steve Grant, said fans only had to look at the bare facts to see that Harry had struggled at the club.

He added that a bold decision to stay with the Saints could only boost the squad.

"When Harry took over we were 17th in the league, and we finished bottom. You could argue that if Steve Wigley had continued, we would have been dead and buried months ago, but the position has deteriorated since Harry took over.

"There's certainly been more optimism since he joined, but he's always been very down on the players. They are good enough, but there's a deep-rooted problem and the rot set in under Gordon Strachan.

"If Harry is staying, he needs to be clear about it. If he wants to have a relegation as the last thing on his CV, he should walk now."

Beautiful South fanzine editor, Daren Wheeler, said Harry owed it to the club to stay.

"The very least we deserve is for him to stick around and get us back up again," he said.

"He does always seem to be talking the players down, saying they were not good enough. It would be a bold statement of support for the team if he came out and said he would stick with us.

"The rebuilding starts now. If Harry can promote Portsmouth, he can promote anyone."
