BURGLARS raided two homes in the Bursledon area.
A gold hexagonal-shaped pocket watch with a white face was stolen from one house along with two gold rings, a gold chain and a PlayStation.
Jewellery and credit cards were stolen from a house in Lionheart Way where burglars forced a rear kitchen window to gain access.
A spokesman for Hedge End police said: "Despite burglary levels being at a 30-year low, homeowners in the area are being advised to ensure windows and doors are closed and locked.
"That also includes sheds and garages which could provide a burglar with the tools to commit a forced entry."
He added that police patrols were being increased in the area following the spate of raids, while residents in the immediate neighbourhood would be receiving awareness and prevention advice.
