FORESTDALE Hotels has acquired the 75-bed Winchester Royal Hotel in Winchester for £3m.
The New Forest-based group's 19 UK premises include the Wessex Hotel and Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth; the Burley Manor, Forest Park and Lyndhurst Park in the New Forest and Southampton Park Hotel.
"This new acquisition in Winchester is ideally located, being in the heart of the city."
