ONE of the biggest property consultants in the region saw annual turnover rise by 15 per cent to a record £110m-plus.

King Sturge, which has an office in Southampton, employs 1,225 staff in 17 offices around the UK and is represented internationally.

Michael Green, partner in charge of the Southampton office, said: "We are continuing to grow the business in all sectors, and have a practice which is providing cutting-edge property advice on a truly global basis."

King Sturge has been behind some of the largest developments and property transactions in and around Southampton for many years. It manages a £13 billion portfolio of investments, including 15 industrial estates in and around the city acquired for clients over the last five years.

King Sturge has also been involved in the acquisition of a 48-acre site north of Southampton arport for further expansion, a 20-acre site in East Cowes as part of a major regeneration project and the sale and development of 200 acres of former Ministry of Defence sites.
