THE demonic killer toy lives to slash another day in this fifth film in the Child's Play series, taking the franchise to even more gruesome, tongue-in-cheek depths.
A malformed living doll called Shitface (voiced by Billy Boyd) finds himself condemned to a hellish existence as a ventriloquist's dummy for an abusive freak show master called Psychs (Keith-Lee Castle).
The flimsy plot spirals out of control towards the end and the meagre body count is almost as disappointing as the lack of imagination in the manner of the deaths.
