ABOUT 3,100 hardy souls have signed up so far for the annual "Walk the Wight" on the Island this Sunday.
It's a 26 and a half-mile stroll, starting at Bembridge in the morning and finishing at Alum Bay in West Wight. Shorter courses are available if you don't fancy going the distance.
More than £124,000 is expected to be raised for the Island's Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
