THERE are less than two weeks left to get your tickets to this year's Homelands festival near Winchester.
The May 28 event at the Matterley Estate launches the summer festival season with
performances by Beck, The Streets, Mylo, The Bravery, Jazzy Jeff, The Human League, Audio Bulleys and Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles.
The festival received its official launch four months ago and since then tickets have been selling fast. About 30,000 music fans are expected at the one-day music marathon, which will last for more than 17 hours.
As well as ten stage arenas all showcasing some of the hottest DJs, bands and solo artists in music, there will also be a number of other attractions at this month's event, including The Strongbow Rooms and Bacardi B-Bar.
This year's event marks a new turn in direction for the festival. Organisers have tried to make the event more appealing to fans of all kinds of music instead of being predominantly a dance event.
And with only a few tickets still remaining, it looks like they have succeeded.
Tickets for this year's Homelands cost £56.50. Call the box office on 0870 060 3775
