TV impersonator Alistair McGowan swaps his vocal shenanigans for the stage from Friday starring in the satirical musical How to Succeed in business Without Really Trying at the Chichester Festival Theatre from Friday, May 13.

A vivacious satire on sharp-practise and ruthless ambition in the world of big business, this is one of the funniest musicals ever written.

With the aid of his bible, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, J. Pierrepont Finch rises irresistibly from window-cleaner to Chairman of the Board at World Wide Wickets, breaking hearts and stabbing backs along the way.

Frank Loesser's musical score bristles with snappy numbers like Coffee Break, A Secretary is Not a Toy and Been a Long Day, the exuberant Brotherhood of Man and the gorgeous I Believe In You. The show won seven Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for drama when it opened on Broadway.

The production also stars Joe McFadden, James Bolam and Fiona Dunn.

It runs until September 10. Tickets from £10. Box office: 01243 781312.
