A SERVICE of thanksgiving and remembrance to commemorate VE Day has been organised by the Andover Branch of the Royal British Legion.
It will be held in the Garden of Remembrance at St Mary's Parish Church, Andover on 8 May at 12.15pm.
A parade of ex-service personnel and representatives from youth and other uniformed organisations, together with representatives from the Armed Forces, will form up under the parade marshall Mr Malcolm Cox.
The parade will march from Bridge Street to the Garden of Remembrance at 11.45am ready for the service.
