A DOZEN children from Beslan will be going home tomorrow with happy memories of an English holiday.

The four weeks in the Ringwood area may help banish the ghosts of the dreadful events at Beslan School No 1 last September when they saw more than 300 of their friends, family and teachers die after terrorists took over the building.

On Saturday the Beslan youngsters got to grips with the technical equipment used by Ringwood firefighters.
