THREE greats of the green baize are heading for Southampton on the eve of the world snooker championships.
Six-times world champion Steve Davis will be joined by Dennis Taylor and Willie Thorne for an evening of snooker entertainment in aid of the Wessex Cancer Trust. The event will be held in the Mick Channon Suite at Saints' St Mary's football stadium.
There will be a drinks reception, sponsored by Carlsberg, a three-course dinner and a night of great snooker.
Tickets cost £65 a head and the evening kicks off at 7.30 for 8pm.
