RHYTHMIC South Gymnastics Club have a team of national champions in their midst.
The senior trio of Olivia Carmichael, Zuleika Jeffries and Ruth May-Johnson took gold in the hoop/ribbon at the National Duets and Trios Championships at Burton-on-Trent.
Silver medallists in the same category were clubmates Laura Bridgewater, Nuala Page and Olivia Pierce.
Other Rhythmic South gymnasts to make the podium were: Joan Chen and Charlotte Collinson (silver, under-ten hoop duet), Bennath Atkinson and Martin Wellington (bronze, junior rope duet), Laura Bridgewater and Ruth May-Johnson (silver, senior clubs duet), Olivia Carmichael and Olivia Pierce (bronze, senior clubs duet).
Rhythmic South extend a warm welcome to any girls aged five and upwards who would like to try rhythmic gymastics.
They can go along to any Saturday morning training session (10-11.15am) at Cantell Sports Hall in Violet Road, Southampton. The first lesson is free.
