TIDWORTH taxi drivers are barred going 'behind the wire' to drop off and pick up soldiers from the secure part of Tidworth camp.
Drivers have complained that the military were being inconsistent and allowing drivers in some days but stopping them from entering on others.Now a military spokeswoman has confirmed there had been a short while when drivers had been allowed in but the matter has now been clarified and the taxis will have to pick-up and deliver at the VCP2 entrance to the camp.
