Andover dominated from the start and took an early lead through Richard McMillan's low cross shot.
Craig Blakeman soon doubled the lead from close range. Andover pressure led to a corner which was flicked on by Joe Woodward and converted at the back post by Ricky Mitchell.
Test Valley rallied early in the second half and pulled back a goal after Andover keeper Michael Horne deflected the first shot onto the bar.
