BRETT ORMEROD fired a three-goal 'don't forget me!' message to Harry Redknapp last night.
The 28-year-old striker has fallen down the pecking order at Saints following the emergence of Dexter Blackstock and Leon Best and the signings of Kenwyne Jones and Henri Camara.
Ormerod turned down a loan move to Wolves earlier this week and last night belted a hat-trick as Saints reserves strolled to a 5-0 win at West Ham reserves.
Ormerod, who is now believed to be interesting Wigan, opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time following good work from Chris Baird and Neil McCann.
Baird doubled the advantage 10 minutes into the second half and the Northern Ireland international set up Ormerod to make it 3-0.
Jo Tessem - one of eight players in the Saints starting XI with first-team experience but the only one not to have featured this season - played Ormerod through for his hat-trick.
And it was Tessem again who set up the fifth goal for Leon Best, the reserves' top scorer.
Graeme Le Saux was handed a 75-minute runout before being replaced by Chris MacDonald.
Saints: Poke, Le Saux (MacDonald 75), Kenton, Baird, Mills, Cranie, Best, Ormerod, Tessem, Sparv, McCann.
