Local Kart racer Gary Catt finished seventh in the world karting championship in La Conca, Italy last month.
Catt, a professional kart racer from Andover, qualified in pole position in timed qualifying in front of the other best 96 Karters from all over the world. And after all of his heats lined up fifth on the grid for the main final.
