DEBUTANT Delson Mirandela made an immediate impression with a twin-strike as QK Southampton won their six-pointer at Yateley Green by a comprehensive 6-0 margin.

"We needed that win and I think that the difference was that we had workers up front for us today," said QK secretary Don Campbell.

Peter Snelling also netted twice for the Taxmen with Patrick Manuell and Ralfe Antonio rounding off their sextet.

The result lifts QK out of the bottom two above Fleet Spurs who slipped up 2-1 at home to Verwood Town, a Sam Knowles penalty (65) for 'Spurs sandwiching efforts from Ian Pitkin (30) and Peter Hunt (75) for the visitors.

A last-gasp strike by Jodie Howard lifted Paulsgrove up into second place in the Division 3 table as they came from behind to beat Netley Central Sports 2-1 at Station Road.

Ricky Bull had fired Netley ahead after 42 minutes following good work by Kristian Pell only for Paul Russell to equalise in a crowded penalty area on 74 minutes.

With the final seconds ticking away, Ben Burgess swung his cross into the near post area where Howard lost his marker to flick the ball home.

Ludgershall Sports' rapid climb up the table continued as they made it four wins in five games with a 4-2 home success against their Wiltshire neighbours Laverstock & Ford.

The visitors took a 15th-minute lead through Mike Harris with centre-half Russell Evans heading Ludgershall back on terms on 30 minutes before Steve Norton pounced to give the home side the lead.

Player/manager Micky Walsh set-up Steve Witt for number three after 76 minutes only for Ben Read to reduce the deficit with a long-range effort only minutes later.

Ludgershall made certain of all three points on 85 minutes as Witt found Jason Rasato who coolly slotted past the Laverstock keeper.
